HD Applicators

HD UNO Total Auto Polish works wonders, but it needs a little help from its friends!

In this case, its friends are the HD Exterior DUOPAD and MINIPAD foam applicators. The special foam formulas work with HD UNO to help it gently remove scratches and oxidation without creating more damage.

HD Exterior UNOPAD

The HD Exterior DUOPAD applicator offers both a polishing foam (orange) and a super soft waxing foam (blue). The center barrier foam reduces product absorption by up to 66%. Plus, the applicator does a better putting the product where it will do some good... On your car!

Use the orange side of the HD DUOPAD to remove fine scratches, scuffs, water spots and oxidation from all painted, clearcoat and clear plastic surfaces.

HD MINIPAD

For stubborn scratches or heavily oxidized headlight lenses, attach the cordless drill adapter to your cordless drill and use the HD MINIPAD. This combination of power and spot treatment removes damage from paint and plastic that would be nearly impossible by hand.

Instructions

For best results, work in a shaded area. Always try removing scratches and other damage by hand first! Only apply polish to a clean surface. Working on a dirty surface may cause more damage.

To remove scratches and oxidation by hand (paint or plastic), apply a dime size dab of HD UNO to the orange side of the HD DUOPAD applicator. Rub over the damage area with moderate pressure until the polish film is nearly gone. Wipe remaining residue away with an HD MICROPOLISH microfiber cloth and inspect. Repeat if necessary.

For deeper scratches or heavily yellowed headlight lenses, use the HD MINIPAD with your cordless drill. Apply 3-4 pea size dabs of HD UNO polish to the pad, push the pad on to the surface to be polished, then slowly bring the drill up to speed and work in thoroughly. Polish until the polish film is nearly gone, then wipe remaining residue away with an HD MICROPOLISH microfiber cloth and inspect.

After using the HD MINIPAD with HD UNO, polish the same area again my hand with HD UNO and the HD DUOPAD (orange side). This will quickly remove and hologram marks (fine swirls) left by the rotation pad.

WARNING: Polishing the same area with more than 2-3 doses of HD UNO may cause paint damage by removing too much clearcoat or color coat material. DO NOT OVER POLISH!
